MCCEA will be offering scholarships to high school seniors planning to major in education. The scholarship applications are posted on this web site and copies of the scholarship application are also available in Morris County High School Guidance offices. The deadline for the application to be submitted to the MCCEA office is APRIL 26, 2012. The application and corresponding references and transcripts must be completed in full to be considered.

MCCEA PHILANTHROPIC FUND SCHOLARSHIP
Candidate for the MCCEA Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a resident of Morris County
2. Be a graduating senior or CCM graduating student, enrolling in a 4 year college or university in the fall of 2012
3. Plan a career in education or related field
4. Have a GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0

WILLIAM (BILL) SANTORA SCHOLARSHIP
for
Vocational, Technical and Creative Arts
(underwritten by TRI-CO Federal Credit Union)
Candidate for the Bill Santana Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a resident of Morris County
2. Be a graduating senior or CCM graduating student, enrolling in a 4 year college or university in the fall of 2012
3. Plan a career in vocational, technical or creative arts with the intent to teach or serve the community
4. Have a GPA of 2.3 on a scale of 4.0
In order to be considered as a scholarship candidate, you must submit the following:
High School Applicant:
1. A completed application for the scholarship
2. An "official" high school transcript (w/ school seal and school sealed envelope)
3. A copy of SAT/ACT scores
4. Letter of reference from your guidance counselor
5. Two (2) letters of reference from teachers, coaches, advisors, or employer
1. A completed application for the scholarship
2. An "official" college transcript (w/school seal and school sealed envelope)
3. A letter of recommendation from a college professor
4. Two (2) letters of reference from previous teachers, advisors, coaches, or employers
Funds will be released about October 2012 after receiving copies of both a letter of acceptance and an official schedule of courses taken.
